The Arraignment Settings consists of calling the defendant by name, reading him the charge, and requiring the defendant to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. In order to plead guilty, you will be asked to sign a waiver, which informs you of the possible penalties you will face upon your guilty plea being accepted.
The only cases, which will be disposed of at the arraignments setting, are those cases in which you wish to enter a guilty plea and pay your fine without the option of talking to the prosecutor. Payment in full is required at this time.
Not guilty pleas are set over to a trial court date.
