1. How do I join the swim team?

To join the team, contact the front desk at 205.444.7703. 

2. What do I need to bring with me to water aerobics?

Please bring a towel and a bathing suit, all other materials are provided.

3. What is the temperature of the pool?

The pool is set between 84 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit.

4. How old do you have to be to swim by yourself?

You must be 15 years old to swim by yourself. Children under 15 may be accompanied by a member 15 years of age or older. Children under 15 years of age must have a parent or guardian on the pool deck at all times. Any children under the age of 15, without appropriate supervision on the pool deck, will be asked to sit out until a parent or guardian is present.

5. Are swim lessons available for adults?

Yes, adult lessons are on Saturdays.

6. When can I swim laps?

At least one lap lane is available at all times. Please refer to the Pool Schedule for more detailed lap swimming times.

7. What level of swim lessons should my child be in?

8. Do you offer lifeguard classes?
